2020 Detachment Convention Cancelled
Like many things this year, to maintain the safety and well being of our members, our 2020 Detachment Convention was cancelled.
The resolution which authorized this, and retaining our Detachment Officers for another year can be found at https://wisal.org/wp-content/uploads/Meetings/2020/ResolutionDEC-20202-W001.pdf
There will still be annual awards this year. They will be posted to the website towards the end of July. Distribution will be determined later.

Message from Commander Bob
Hard to believe we are in the middle of summer! These past few months have been very unusual for all of us. It has been difficult not getting together for meetings or participating in events like we have always done. It was a disappointing way to end a great administrative year for us.
Our members still did a great job of working our programs and helping our veterans. I want to thank all of you for all your hard work this year. We have many squadrons at 100% or more in membership, many of those at all-time high. Many squadrons contributed to the success of our former Josh program and our new Operation A.L.F. Program, and my special project, homeless veterans. Final numbers are not available just yet, but I know they will be good.
I look forward to the day when we will celebrate your success and present this years awards. More information on that when we figure it out. Although it is not something I planned, I will be staying on for the next year as your Commander. I know it will be an outstanding year with new goals and even greater accomplishments.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
