Saturday, January 17 – Honor Your Service
5:30 pm – 11:00 pm Next year, 2026, is our country’s semi quincentennial. The Midwinter Banquet will start the celebration with “Honor Your Service”. Legion attendees should wear or bring something related to their service – uniforms, shirts, pictures, etc., and the SAL and ALA attendees should wear or bring something from the service of the person they are honoring. The banquet buffet will consist of salad, coleslaw, baked beans, buttered corn with roasted red peppers, au grating potatoes, BBQ braised baby back ribs, broasted chicken, cornbread and a dessert. Boogie Time DJ will join us again to get everyone up and moving! Banquet tickets must be purchased by December 27th.
Sunday, January 18 – Four Chaplains Service
8:00 am – Join us as we honor the service and sacrifices of the Four Chaplains who served in WWII on the SS Dorchester
Special Guest Frank Meraz, Jr.
C. Frank Meraz Jr. is a National Vice Commander representing the Western Region.
A 45 year member of the Sons of The American Legion at Ed Stewart Squadron 803 in Stockton, California.
