Regional and National ReportsBad News: We continue our downhill slide; we are now 21st in the nation and 6th in the region for membership.
Good News: We reached our national goal of 90 percent; thank you all, but we have a ways to go to reach 105 percent and garner the Triple Nickel Award.
Bad News: For retention, we are now 12th in the nation and 5th in the region. PLEASE! Get your renewals transmitted promptly.

Membership Awards

· JACK KEY "PLAQUE" This plaque goes to the First Squadron to reach 110 % of its previous year's membership. The previous year's total is based on the amount turned in by the close of the Annual Convention.
· ARMIN TEWS "PLAQUE" This award goes to the squadron that has attained the greatest percent increase in membership, over the last year by June 1st.
History Book Award
· Dillman "PLAQUE" This award goes to the squadron that has submitted the best Squadron History Book.
Commanders Project Award
· Commanders Project "PLAQUE" This award goes to the squadron that has made the greatest contribution per capita to the Commander Project.
We also have individual awards for outstanding members.
· DENNIS F. STOCKFISCH, MERITORIOUS SERVICE AWARD. Awarded to the S.A.L. member who has shown outstanding leadership and devoted service to the Sons of The American Legion organization. This is the highest honor a member can receive.
· JOHN E. WEBSTER, MEMBERSHIP SERVICE AWARD This award goes to the S.A.L. member who obtains the most New or Re-instated members over the last year, by May 31st.
